1. Copyright informationAll information on this website is provided as stated, without any claim to accuracy, completeness or currency. Unless expressly indicated otherwise in this publication in connection with a particular extract, file or document, anyone is permitted to view, copy, print and distribute this document subject to the following conditions: the document may be used only for non-commercial informational purposes. 3a. Special provisions for registered usersBy registering with Pflegewissenschaft, the user, hereinafter referred to as the “member”, agrees with the operator to the following terms of use. Members participating in discussion forums and comments undertake:

  • 1. To refrain in their contributions from insults, unlawful content, pornography and offensive language;
  • 2. To bear sole responsibility for the content they post, not to infringe third-party rights (in particular trademark rights, copyright and personality rights), and to fully indemnify the operators of Pflegewissenschaft against third-party claims arising from their contributions;
  • 3. Not to post advertising of any kind in forums or comments or use forums and comments for any commercial activity. This applies in particular to publishing “0900” premium-rate telephone numbers for any purpose.

There is no entitlement to publication of submitted comments or forum contributions. The operators of Pflegewissenschaft reserve the right to edit or delete comments and forum contributions at their discretion. In the event of breaches of the obligations under points 1, 2 and 3, the operators also reserve the right to suspend membership temporarily or delete it permanently.

4. Submission of contributions and articlesWhere a member makes use of the opportunity to submit their own contributions to the editorial section of Pflegewissenschaft, the following applies: before posting a contribution, the member must have entered their full and correct first and last name in their Pflegewissenschaft user profile, or must enter it after submitting the article. The name entered there will be displayed publicly with the contribution when it is published. The member makes the following declarations for all contributions they submit to Pflegewissenschaft in the future:

1. The member warrants that the submitted contributions are free from third-party rights, in particular copyright, trademark rights and personality rights. This applies to all submitted contributions and images.

2. The member grants the operators of Pflegewissenschaft an unrestricted right to use the submitted contributions. This includes publication on the internet on Pflegewissenschaft and on other internet servers, in newsletters, print media and other publications.

3. Submitted contributions will be deleted or anonymised at the member's request by email to the address of the publisher, hpsmedia GmbH. Deletion or anonymisation will take place within seven days of notification. The operators are liable for consequential damage suffered by the member as a result of delayed deletion only insofar as it is not attributable to a breach of the member's obligations under points 1, 2 and 3 above and, beyond this, is attributable to gross fault or intent on the part of the operators of Pflegewissenschaft. We expressly point out in this connection that Pflegewissenschaft is regularly indexed by search engines and that we have no influence over whether, where or for how long contributions published by us may remain stored and accessible in search-engine databases and web directories after deletion from Pflegewissenschaft.

4. There is no entitlement to storage, publication or archiving of submitted contributions. The operators reserve the right not to publish submitted contributions without giving reasons, to edit them before publication or to delete them at their discretion after publication.

5. Publication of submitted contributions does not give the member any entitlement to remuneration from Pflegewissenschaft, including fees, licence payments, reimbursement of expenses or similar payments. Contributions are voluntary and unpaid.

5. Privacy policyWhere the website offers an opportunity to enter personal or business data, disclosure of these data by the user is expressly voluntary. Where technically possible and reasonable, our service may also be used without providing such data or by providing anonymised data or a pseudonym. Further important privacy information can be found in our privacy policy.

6. Registration and passwordUsers must treat their username and password combination as confidential and must not disclose it to third parties. The operator must be informed if misuse of access credentials is suspected.

7. Notice under the German Teleservices ActThe respective providers are responsible for third-party websites linked from this service. The operator is not responsible for the content of such third-party websites. Other websites may also link to this website without our knowledge. The operator accepts no responsibility for the presentation or content of third-party websites or for any connection to this website appearing on them.
